The problem worth engineering
A custom-built scrolling animation inspired by the cinematic flair of Red Dead Redemption 2. This project blends SVG masks, GSAP timelines, ScrollTrigger, and precise mathematical formulas to choreograph a dramatic, smooth, and highly interactive user journey.
Every scroll action is tied to a carefully timed visual transition, making the site feel like a scene from a Rockstar game.
- Implemented multi-phase scroll animations driven by GSAP and ScrollTrigger, controlling elements with precise percentage-based timelines.
- Designed and integrated complex SVG masks for dramatic reveal effects, surpassing the limitations of CSS clip-path.
- Applied math-driven scaling formulas for dynamic transitions, including exponential scaling for unique melting animations.
